AREC Pasta Awards Party on Friday, October 12th. Like last year, it will be held at the Pacific Condo Clubhouse (850 Ocean) from 6:30 to 10:30. AREC will provide soft drinks, pasta, sauces, dessert, and dinnerware. Bring a salad or appetizer to share. The party is for members and significant others. Talk to Todd if you have any questions or concerns.
Runner of the Year voting. The Runners of the Year will be announced at the Pasta Party. Of 180 members, I have received 15 votes. See Emmett on Wednesday or send in your vote via e-mail, please. Voting will close on Wednesday, October 10th at 9:00pm.

Elections. AREC holds board elections every two years, and the next election will be in December. All primary positions (President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer), plus little known positions (Emperor, Fundraiser, and Flag Bearer) as well. AREC has been a great, fun club, because of the people who run it and who are in it.
