Membership. If you are a new member and want to join, people that join from now until the end of the year will be extended through all of 2009. If you want to renew your membership (early?), please don’t fill out a new form – I can either e-mail you the renewal form or bring one to a workout. Otherwise, just wait until January.
Club Giveaway 2009. The AREC gear giveaway for 2009 (water bottle and technical towel) are now in stock (at the “Todd Rose Warehouse”). If you are a new member that joined in the past few months (and didn’t take a hat or run bag), you can pick your gear up from Todd at a Wednesday or Saturday run or see note above about renewing members.
Board Meeting #4. Our club bylaws require that we hold 4 board meetings per year. At this final meeting for 2008, on Wednesday, December 10th, at Coachs in Seal Beach, at 8:00pm, we will be finalizing our budget for 2009, and discussing any current issues or new activities for 2009. Please consider attending, as AREC is all about its members and what they want out of a club. We would love to hear any proposals on how to improve the club.
AREC Christmas Party. Deb & Kate have graciously agreed (thank you, thank you, thank you!) to host the AREC Christmas Party at their home (5464 Oleta) on Saturday, December 20th from 3pm to 8pm. Bring a wrapped (max cost $10) gift for the gift exchange, an appetizer, and any wine/beer you would like to consume. Hope to see you all there!
