As of March 19, 2006, I officially became a Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) certified running coach! You can verify this claim by going to www.rrca.org/coaching/ , selecting California as the state and clicking on “list certified coaches”. Of course, this doesn’t necessarily make me any better or worse of a coach than I was before the course… just certified. I am however, the only one listed in Long Beach.
Seriously though, I will gladly dispense training tips to those individuals interested in self-improvement; the first couple of juicy morsels free of charge. Then, once you have become hooked like an addict to the crack pipe, I will continue to deal more words of wisdom, but now for exorbitant monthly fees! And you will be left powerless over the endorphin rush coursing through your bloodstream, because once those chemicals subside, you will need another runner’s high to merely get you through the next day. Then, my friends, you will be mine…FOREVER! Aaahhhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
