Let me start by thanking everyone who attended the AREC meeting on June 21st. It was the first such meeting in the past 4 years, and ironically was held at the same locale, Ian Varleyís house. And, though I felt the turnout was a little shy in actual numbers (17 people), the attitude of those present was anything but shy. Their participation showed incredible purpose and focus towards the future of AREC by bringing up many great ideas to consider and questions to look into. Four years ago, no action was taken on the ideas coming out of that meeting. I believe there was complacency and apathy running amok at that time compared to the sincere caring and loyalty to the club which I see today. Itís about time we kicked this club up a notch! I also feel itís extremely important to maintain the fun-run, family-like atmosphere we have achieved. Remember, itís your club, so take ownership to have it be the way you want it! Here is a quick list of topics, ideas and questions from the meeting:
1. Membership Dues - $10 (7/1/00 - 12/31/00), then $25/yr. thereafter.
