In previous years, AREC regularly had a feature on race results from the previous month. I would LOVE to see some feedback on various races, especially if people got together afterwards for… whatever.
For example, after PV Half Marathon (which had 23 participants – and they still got 46 people at Marathon Training!) and Laguna Hills Half, we had a pub crawl. We hit all the 2nd Street bars (and found some really good deals on beers). By the time I left, I saw Kim Russell, Ellen Files, Adam Scott and Inger Nelson doing the… well, you’ll have to go to the next one to find out!
Highlights:
Stacy Embretson ran the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati this month AND QUALIFIED for Boston!
Steve Singer completed his first marathon (or at least first I have seen in 10 years!).
5 new people joined the Century Club (that’s if you run 100 miles in races during the AREC Racing Year (September through August)).
